Transforming Big Ideas into Magic Moments
John’s work sits at the intersection of communications strategy and experience production, with a focus on narrative development, thought leadership, and live events. Guided by his trademarked mantra, Impossible is Just a Word, he transforms big ideas into stories and moments people remember.
He always starts with one question: "What should the audience think, feel, and do afterward?" That audience-first approach has shaped his work with organizations such as the New England Patriots, Life is Good, IBM, Google, Forbes, and others.

Where Stortelling Meets Strategy
What's a typical week look like for John? One day, he might be helping a keynote speaker shape their message so they feel confident to take the stage. The next, he may be writing an employee spotlight story that helps a brand communicate its mission in a more human way. By the end of the week, he could be designing the audience journey for an event, blending multimedia, music, and transitions so people are engaged from the moment the doors open to the final applause.

Partnering with Executive Teams
- Challenge: Converge Technology Solutions wanted to strengthen its position in the technology industry by convening senior leaders from organizations including Google, IBM, and Microsoft.
- Strategy: John helped develop an executive summit centered on thought leadership, relationship-building, and industry trends rather than traditional product promotion.
- Execution: He led the narrative framework, speaker coordination, executive messaging, run-of-show development, event branding, multimedia integration, and audience experience.
- Result: The flagship summit sold out with 200 attendees, strengthened strategic client relationships, and further positioned Converge as a trusted technology partner. John’s leadership and organization on the initiative also contributed to his promotion.

Scaling Thought Leadership Platforms
- Challenge: Super Bowl Champion and literacy advocate Malcolm Mitchell wanted to expand his leadership platform beyond sports.
- Strategy: John built a thought leadership platform connecting Malcolm’s personal journey and lessons in resilience across content, keynote experiences, and live educational programming.
- Execution: He developed messaging frameworks and content themes, shaped an interactive 60-minute keynote, and helped produce Reading Rallies through audience experience design, run-of-show development, multimedia, pacing, and engagement.
- Result: Malcolm’s LinkedIn audience grew 58.5% in seven months (4x the industry average), while his keynote experiences reached audiences of up to 5,000 and supported programming across all 50 states and 18 countries.

Producing Mission-Driven Campaigns
- Challenge: The Life is Good Playmaker Project was preparing to launch its first large-scale Playmaker City experience after securing a $100k sponsorship. The goal was to help educators reduce burnout.
- Strategy: John helped oversee the pilot event as an immersive introduction to the organization, combining professional development and community-building into one cohesive audience journey.
- Execution: He oversaw marketing, communications, branding, multimedia, keynote coordination, run of show, vendors, registration, and onsite experience across a 10-person team. He also created an operational model that could support future city launches.
- Result: The event sold out, earned an average attendee rating of 9.6 out of 10, and achieved an NPS of 87 (anything above an 80 considred world-class). The launch also established a repeatable foundation for expanding the Playmaker City initiative nationwide.

Humanizing Athletes Through Storytelling
- Challenge: The New England Patriots wanted to deepen the relationship between players and fans by sharing stories that extended beyond performance on the field.
- Strategy: John was hired to develop an original entertainment format blending interviews with players, storytelling, and personality-driven content for television and social media.
- Execution: As lead producer and on-air personality, John researched, scripted, produced, and hosted 12 episodes that transformed players’ personal stories into engaging audience experiences.
- Result: The series reached more than five million fans weekly, generated national media attention, and created a distinctive platform for showcasing the people behind the helmets. The work also earned recognition from players, including a personal press-conference acknowledgment from Tom Brady.

Transforming Employee Onboarding Process
- Challenge: As Converge continued to grow, the organization needed a more consistent and engaging way to help new employees understand its structure, culture, and shared mission.
- Strategy: John reframed onboarding as a company-wide narrative, showing employees how individual departments and responsibilities contributed to the broader organization.
- Execution: He mapped the organization’s functions and produced an animated onboarding experience that combined internal communications, education, narrative structure, and visual storytelling.
- Result: The video became Converge’s official onboarding experience for more than 1,000 employees, improving message consistency and creating a more cohesive introduction to the company.

Shaping Keynote Speakers and Messages
- Challenge: Dr. Cameron Martin had an extensive body of leadership content but needed a clearer platform that translated his philosophy into a compelling story for corporate audiences and event organizers.
- Strategy: John organized Dr. Martin’s ideas into a cohesive thought leadership narrative to communicate its relevance.
- Execution: He produced a keynote highlight reel, speaker media kit, branded content, and supporting messaging that presented Dr. Martin’s expertise through a consistent and marketable platform.
- Result: The work strengthened Dr. Martin’s speaker positioning, leading to a workshop booking with TikTok’s global events team. In addition, John helped craft his TEDx Talk in Ireland, which received 74,000 views within six months.

Designing Immersive Experiences
- Challenge: A Boston venue wanted to create an original Beatles-inspired production that explored the group’s cultural impact without becoming a traditional tribute concert.
- Strategy: John developed a live format combining education, entertainment, music, storytelling, interviews, multimedia, magic, and audience participation.
- Execution: As co-creator and producer, he shaped the show flow, content, pacing, multimedia, interactive segments, guest integration, and audience experience for the two-hour production.
- Result: The concept expanded into more than 70 events and secured a three-year residency at a 200-seat Boston venue. It attracted guests connected to The Beatles, earned media attention, and led to an invitation to present the program in Liverpool.

Translating Organizational Impact
- Challenge: The Life is Good Playmaker Project needed a clear and compelling way to communicate the outcomes of its programs to donors, board members, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Strategy: John created a unified impact narrative that connected organizational data, program outcomes, participant voices, and brand messaging across multiple internal teams.
- Execution: He led the organization’s first 15-page annual report from concept through completion, coordinating leadership, programs, and web while interviewing 12 alumni for human-centered stories.
- Result: The finished report gave the organization a flagship communications asset for donor engagement, board communications, partnership development, and external storytelling. John also established a repeatable framework for future reporting.
- Challenge: Converge Technology Solutions wanted to strengthen its position in the technology industry by convening senior leaders from organizations including Google, IBM, and Microsoft.
