Partnering with Executive Teams
- Challenge: Converge Technology Solutions wanted to elevate its position in the technology industry by creating an executive summit that convened senior leaders from organizations including Google, IBM, and Microsoft.
- Strategy: John developed the narrative framework and audience experience for a flagship event designed to foster executive networking, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships.
- Execution: He directed speaker coordination, executive messaging, run-of-show development, event branding, multimedia integration, and audience engagement strategies.
- Result The summit sold out with 200 attendees, strengthened client relationships, and further positioned Converge as a trusted technology partner. The success of the program also led to a promotion for John in recognition of his leadership and impact.

Scaling Thought Leadership Platforms
- Challenge: Former Wide Receiver Malcolm Mitchell wanted to expand his leadership presence beyond sports.
- Strategy: Malcolm hired John to craft an executive communications brand that connects the lessons of Malcolm's childhood adversity with his rise to Super Bowl champion, creating a message centered on resilience.
- Execution: John identified content themes and messaging frameworks, while also crafting an interactive 60-minute keynote experience for Malcolm. He also led creative direction, narrative strategy, and experiential design for Malcolm's brand.
- Result: With John's impact, Malcolm's LinkedIn audience grew by 58.5% in seven months, 4× faster than typical platform growth benchmarks. In addition, the keynote John developed is now delivered nationwide for audiences of up to 5,000 attendees.

Producing Mission-Driven Campaigns
- Challenge: The Playmaker Project (the nonprofit partner of Life is Good) launched its first-ever large-scale experiential conference. They also received a $100k sponsorship from Citizens to execute it.
- Strategy: The goal was to introduce educators to the organization through an immersive experience focused on professional development and reducing burnout.
- Execution: John oversaw marketing, communications, branding, multimedia, keynotes, run-of-show, and production across a 10-person team. John was also in charge of creating a repeatable operational playbook for future city launches since this was their first time producing it.
- Result: According to industry-used Net Promoter Score benchmarks for comparable events, post-event scores in the 30s are considered average, scores in the 50s are considered excellent, and scores above 80 are considered world-class. Based on attendee surveys, this sold-out experience earned an 85 NPS.

Humanizing Athletes Through Storytelling
- Challenge: The New England Patriots wanted to give fans a more authentic connection to players beyond the field using a new content strategy and communication initiative.
- Strategy: John was selected to serve as Lead Producer and On-Air Personality of an original show featured on social media and television. These episodes blended storytelling, interviews, and entertainment to showcase the personalities of the players for fans.
- Execution: John scripted and produced 12 episodes that transformed player stories into engaging segments, helping fans connect with the people behind the helmets. He helped others learn more about the players through stories about their childhood and how they became interested in football.
- Result: The series reached over five million fans weekly and became a unique platform for showcasing the human side of professional athletes. The episodes generated national media coverage and earned a personal shout-out from Tom Brady during a press conference.

Strengthening Internal Communications
- Challenge: Converge needed a more engaging way to onboard employees while helping new hires better understand the company.
- Strategy: John created a clearer onboarding story that helped new hires understand how their roles connected to the larger mission.
- Execution: He mapped out each department and produced an animated onboarding video that blended education, communication, and visual storytelling into a more engaging employee experience.
- Result: The video became the company's official onboarding experience for more than 1,000 employees, strengthening organizational alignment and improving the consistency of the employee experience.

Shaping Keynote Speakers and Messages
- Challenge: Dr. Cameron Martin was seeking a platform that translated his philosophy on leadership for corporate audiences.
- Strategy: He hired John as his Thought Leadership and Creative Services Manager to transform a library of content in a cohesive story for the brand to make the booking process easier for clients.
- Execution: John produced a keynote highlight reel, speaker media kit, and supporting branded content that showcased Dr. Martin's brand.
- Result: This work enhanced Dr. Martin’s speaker positioning, which resulted in a booked workshop for TikTok’s global event team, and being accepted to do a TEDx Talk in Ireland, which received 74,000 views within six months.

Blending Education with Immersive Experiences
- Challenge: A venue wanted to develop a unique show inspired by The Beatles that revealed the band's cultural impact in a creative way.
- Strategy: John was hired as a Producer to blend education, entertainment, music, storytelling, interviews, multimedia, and audience participation into a cohesive two-hour live experience for a 200-person venue.
- Execution: He focused on experience design including show flow, multimedia, and pacing for entertainment and corporate audiences.
- Result: The program expanded to 70+ events and secured a multi-year monthly residency at a Boston venue. It attracted attendees connected to friends and family members of The Beatles, received media coverage, and earned an invitation to Liverpool.

Communicating Organizational Impact
- Challenge: The Life is Good Playmaker Project wanted to showcase outcomes from their professional development programs and nonprofit initiatives in a clear, compelling way for donors and Board of Directors.
- Strategy: John developed a unified narrative framework and foundation that aligned leadership, program teams, design, and web into a cohesive impact story.
- Execution: He led the development from the ground up for the organization’s first 15-page annual Impact Report, interviewing 12 program alumni to translate impact into executive-level storytelling.
- Result: John crafted and produced their first annual report for internal and external use, while also building a repeatable reporting system that leadership can use for the future.
