- Challenge: Malcolm Mitchell from the New England Patriots wanted to expand his leadership platform and establish a stronger presence.
- Strategy: Malcolm hired John as his Senior Brand Strategist and Thought Leadership Advisor to transform his life story (from childhood adversity to Super Bowl champion) into transferable leadership lessons.
- Execution: John identified content opportunities, built editorial themes, and developed messaging rooted in Malcolm’s personal experiences.
- Result: John grew Malcolm's audience by 58.5% in seven months, 4× faster than typical LinkedIn growth benchmarks. He also wrote and produced Malcolm’s signature 60-minute interactive keynote, now delivered nationwide for audiences of up to 5,000 people.

Leading an Executive Tech Summit
- Challenge: Converge Technology Solutions wanted a high-impact executive technology summit near Times Square that brought together industry leaders from companies including IBM, Google, Microsoft.
- Strategy: John oversaw the strategy and program design, shaping the event branding, keynote agenda, run-of-show, and multimedia experience while also serving as emcee throughout the event.
- Execution: He managed stage production, executive speaker coordination, audience flow, multimedia integration, and event experience across the summit.
- Result: The summit sold out with 200 attendees and John received a promotion in recognition of his leadership and impact.
- Challenge: Converge Technology Solutions wanted a high-impact executive technology summit near Times Square that brought together industry leaders from companies including IBM, Google, Microsoft.

Producing a Professional Development Event
- Challenge: The Playmaker Project launched its first-ever large-scale experiential event. The goal was to introduce educators to the organization through an immersive experience. They received a $100k sponsorship from Citizens as well.
- Strategy: John was assigned as Lead Producer for the initiative, guiding the vision and development of a brand-new city-based model.
- Execution: He oversaw marketing, communications, branding, multimedia, keynotes, run-of-show, sponsors, and production across a 10-person event team.
- Result: Comparable live experiences average a 50 Net Promoter Score, while anything above 80 is considered world-class. Based on attendee surveys, this experience earned an 85, placing the sold-out event above industry benchmarks, while also creating a repeatable operational playbook for future city launches.
- Challenge: The Playmaker Project launched its first-ever large-scale experiential event. The goal was to introduce educators to the organization through an immersive experience. They received a $100k sponsorship from Citizens as well.

Crafting an Annual Impact Report
- Challenge: The Life is Good Playmaker Project wanted to showcase outcomes from their professional development programs and nonprofit initiatives in a clear, compelling way for donors and Board of Directors.
- Strategy: John developed a unified narrative framework that aligned executive leadership, program teams, design, web, and PR partners.
- Execution: He led the development from the ground up for the organization’s 15-page annual Impact Report, interviewing 12 program alumni to translate impact into executive-level storytelling.
- Result: John crafted and produced their first annual report for internal and external use, while also crafting a repeatable reporting system that leadership can use for the future.
- Challenge: The Life is Good Playmaker Project wanted to showcase outcomes from their professional development programs and nonprofit initiatives in a clear, compelling way for donors and Board of Directors.

Working with Internal Communications
- Challenge: Converge needed a more engaging way to onboard employees while helping new hires better understand the company’s business model, culture, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strategy: John was asked to develop a storytelling approach that simplified concepts through animation, messaging, and narrative structure designed to make onboarding more engaging and accessible.
- Execution: He developed an internal communications video that connected employee roles to the company’s broader mission and organizational structure.
- Result: The onboarding experience helped simplify internal education for new hires and became the official onboarding video for over a thousand people. The project also reinforced Converge’s focus on communication, culture, and employee alignment across teams during a new transition phase.
- Challenge: Converge needed a more engaging way to onboard employees while helping new hires better understand the company’s business model, culture, and cross-functional collaboration.

Telling a Brand's Story and Mission
- Challenge: Dr. Cameron Martin needed a keynote speaker brand and media presence that clearly communicated his philosophy, keynote themes, and value to event organizers and corporate audiences.
- Strategy: He hired John as his Sr. Manager of Thought Leadership to transform hours of content in a cohesive story for the brand.
- Execution: John produced a keynote highlight reel, speaker media kit, and supporting branded content that showcased Dr. Martin's speaking style and workshop experience.
- Result: The content helped strengthen Dr. Martin’s professional speaker presence, which resulted in a booked leadership workshop for TikTok’s global event team and being accepted to do a TEDx Talk in Ireland.
- Challenge: Dr. Cameron Martin needed a keynote speaker brand and media presence that clearly communicated his philosophy, keynote themes, and value to event organizers and corporate audiences.

Creating an Immersive Multimedia Experience
- Challenge: A venue wanted to build an immersive multimedia experience inspired by The Beatles that blended music, storytelling, interviews, media, and audience participation into a live production.
- Strategy: John was hired as Executive Producer and Creative Director focused on the experiential production strategy.
- Execution: He oversaw show flow, content integration, pacing, and audience engagement for both entertainment and corporate audiences.
- Result: They were invited to perform at 70+ events and secured a multi-year residency at a 200-seat Boston venue. It attracted audiences connected to The Beatles’ network, received media coverage, and was invited to Liverpool.
- Challenge: A venue wanted to build an immersive multimedia experience inspired by The Beatles that blended music, storytelling, interviews, media, and audience participation into a live production.
