“Does this represent a startling uptick in quarter-life crises—or were the generations before us just as lost and misguided in their twenties?”
I just finished reading a really interesting article that dives into how millennials are trying to “figure out” life, and it got me thinking. We often hear stereotypes about how each generation views happiness, purpose, and fulfillment differently. But the more I read, the more it feels like everything circles back to the same core truth: people want to integrate their passions into their lives and feel genuinely valued in the work they do.
When those two pieces are missing, it doesn’t matter what decade you were born in—it’s easy to feel untethered. When they are present, everything else starts to fall into place
