Stop Waiting for a Miracle

We have to stop using the excuse “it wasn’t the right opportunity” to validate our inactions.

Sometimes what you’ve been searching for might be right in front of you, just not the way you thought it would be.

We often expect a big, dramatic moment with angels singing and a spotlight shining down when waiting for something to happen (and if it does happen, please let me know because I’d love to see it).

The story I tell in the video is based on “the parable of the drowning man.” I know it mentions God, but this story isn’t about religion. It’s about recognizing that there’s really no such thing as a “perfect” opportunity, but rather ordinary ones that become meaningful when we choose to act on them.

So I challenge you this week: slow down, pay attention, and notice the small moments around you. They might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for, even if they don’t look like what you imagined in your head.
