How did a 3D crosswalk help solve a speeding problem?

A group of students used design thinking and studied the science behind illusions to make a difference in their home town.

Magicians use perception strategies and psychological techniques to develop new routines every day. However, I talk about in my keynote that those concepts can benefit society as well.

A group of students decided to study the concept of illusions and build a 3D crosswalk in their school zone to prevent accidents. They not only had to understand the psychology of why illusions work, but also how to implement it into a positive way to help society.
